AYA offers lots of options to work with teachers and students from kindergarten to Year 12.
For teachers, we can tailor a stand-alone program to help you to introduce yoga and meditation/mindfulness techniques with their students, or one of our specially trained teachers can come to your school and facilitate classes.
The current research suggests that yoga and meditation/mindfulness is beneficial to students of all ages, because it helps with:
enhancing gratitude and compassion – which is a pathway to happiness
improving their perception of their overall health and well-being
We will work with you to develop a program that may include yoga, meditation/mindfulness and breathwork sessions to compliment any school wellbeing program currently in place. We can also offer programs on-site at our calming studio sanctuary in prahran, Melbourne.
