Trauma Informed
Yoga Teacher Training
25 HOURS TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
with Caz Pringle-Bowden
Trauma-Informed yoga aims to make yoga accessible to all. In Trauma-Informed yoga, there are no expectations, therefore, it allows our true nature to unfold, giving us permission to explore ourselves and our relationship to others.
A regular, Trauma-Informed practice can provide a bridge away from living with anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health challenges, to a healthy baseline of contentment and joy. It is the ongoing nature of the practice that creates long-term balance in our nervous systems.
This Trauma-Informed training offers a foundation for facilitating yoga, mindful movement, breath, meditation and somatic practices as tools for self-regulation and mental health support.
This training is open to all who are curious, yoga teachers, meditation teachers, embodiment facilitators and mental-health practitioners. There is no pre-requisite training for this course, all are welcome.
We would love to talk with you if you have any questions. Please contact co-owner, Mel Mackintosh on 0413 298 132 or at info@australianyogaacademy.com to discuss.

She also facilitates a weekly trauma-informed yoga class for current and ex-serving military, ambulance, police, and healthcare personnel affected by post-traumatic stress injuries.
As a proud late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, Caz provides neurodiversity training which supports adults with ADHD/Autism and also trains yoga teachers and organisations in neuo-affirming practice / neuro-inclusion.
