We have trained hundreds of amazing students since 2005, who have been brave and transformed their lives. You can too!

Study over 1 year or over 4 months. Study in person or online, via Zoom, or a combination of both.

2025 Yoga Teacher Training dates are now available!

350 hours/12 months – Our face-to-face courses commence in February and July/August each year. Join a weekly Thursday (10am – 2:30pm) course or two full days (Sat/Sun together), one weekend per month.

200 hours/4 months – Our hybrid course commences in March and August each year. Join weekly Tuesday evening lectures via Zoom and attend face-to-face lectures over two full days (Sat/Sun together), one weekend per month.

Hi there!

Welcome to the Australian Yoga Academy. Come on a tour with us!

Australian Yoga Academy is a boutique yoga studio and wellness centre, located in the heart of Prahran, Melbourne, Australia. We are home to Melbourne’s most dedicated community of yoga students, teachers, trainees and wellness professionals.

We’d love to help you with general yoga classes – we have a class to suit you, whether you are an experienced yogi or are brand new to the practice.

We are also industry leaders in yoga teacher training and continuing professional development for experienced teachers. Or you can join us for inspiring yoga and wellness events and retreats!

Come and meet our amazing teachers and motivating team of health and wellbeing professionals. We’ve been coming together since 2000 to grow, learn and love all things about yoga and wellness. We’d love for you to join the Australian Yoga Academy family today.
