Studio Update re COVID-19

To Our Dearest AYA Community,

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to you for your continued support during these challenging times.

We hope that this finds you coping as well as you can and using the mindful application of your Yoga practice on and off the mat to help you navigate these uncharted waters gracefully.

Due to the government ordered shut down, the Studio is now temporarily closed.

We truly believe yoga to be an entirely essential service now more than ever, and so to allow us to continue to serve you, AYA has launched an online studio.

AYA Online Studio

AYA Online Studio will be offering you 8 brand new classes each week with your favourite AYA Teachers. Our video library of a wide range of classes will be accessible on demand for those who sign up to this service.

The fee for access to the online studio is only $19 per week. There is no minimum period, you can cancel at any time.

  • New Student Trial Passes will be suspended and the date extended for you to resume when we re-open.

Yoga Teacher Training

Although our studio classes are currently prevented from running under government rules, as an educational institution, our YTT programs allow to continue on campus as normal during this time while observing the rule to have 4 square meters of space per person. Our teacher training room is 135 sqm, allowing us to have up to 34 people in our training room. Our teacher training groups are limited to 25 people so we are well within the rule.

During this time, we are also live streaming the teacher training classes via Zoom, so students have the option to continue to attend in person, or they can stay home and tune in live from there.

Students participating online are able to ask questions both verbally and through the text box, so it is fully interactive.

We continue to deliver the highest quality training available in Australia.

We are all in unchartered territory, and everyone feels uncertain about the future and this is exactly when the practices of yoga can help the most. So please, for yourself, your family and the world keep up your practice at home, whether that’s with us or on your own.

Sending you all much love
Keep well and safe
