Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching Overview

AYA’s Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching, is one of the most renowned and comprehensive yoga teacher training programs available in Australia. We have been training teachers to the highest standard since 2005 and our course is accredited by Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance. As a result, AYA graduates are highly sought after in the marketplace. Upon completion of our teacher training program you will be extremely well placed to create an amazing career anywhere in the world.

AYA’s YTT Program is based on Patanjali’s Ashtanga or 8 Limbed Approach. The course explores asana, pranayama, meditation, yogic philosophy, practical teaching methods, anatomy and physiology and professional development in detail.

The program is not only for those wishing to become yoga teachers but anyone who would like to gain a deeper understanding of the full science and practice of this ancient philosophy.

To cater for the needs of all students we provide two different ways to complete the course (please note the course is identical regardless of the stream you choose).

Thursday 10am to 2.30pm commencing February & July.

Saturday & Sunday 9:30am to 5:45pm once a month commencing March & July.

Weekend Monthly

Available both in the studio, face-to-face and concurrently via Livestream on Zoom. Sat/Sun, 1 x weekend per month, 9:30am-5:45pm on both days, for 12 months

Lectures commence: 5/6 March, 9:30am-5:45pm both days.

Lecture weekends are: 5/6 March, 2/3 April, 30 April/1 May, 28/29 May, 25/26 June, 23/24 July, 20/21 Aug, 17/18 Sept, 15/16 Oct, 26/27 Nov.
